Yes. Peel-and-stick wallpaper can work for accent walls and rentals, but it still needs a clean, smooth, properly cured wall. It is less forgiving on textured walls, fresh paint, humidity, and uneven surfaces.

Not always. Peel-and-stick has no paste, but it can stretch, trap bubbles, pull paint, or misalign on large panels. Traditional wallpaper often allows more slip for precise pattern matching.
