Each wall's width and height, plus doors, windows, corners, trim, built-ins or a fireplace edge. Include full-room and straight-on photographs so we can discuss where the pattern begins and ends.
The condition and access
Show texture, loose paint, old wallpaper, stains or repairs. Tell us about furniture, ceiling height, stairs and any building access rules, along with your Vaughan address and preferred timing.
Quantity must allow for the actual pattern layout, trimming and matching material. We review the product's ordering guidance with the measurements; a universal waste percentage cannot account for every repeat, panel set or room.

- Wallpaper supply
- Clients usually choose and supply the wallpaper. We can review the product and quantity first. If Strataline is to source it, availability, price, ordering and supply responsibilities must be confirmed in writing.

Follow the product system
The manufacturer's instructions guide the substrate, primer, adhesive and hanging method. Peel-and-stick products need their own surface review; they are not automatically suitable for every painted wall.
Discuss seams and handling
Natural fibres and specialty finishes may show panel character or shade variation. Fragile surfaces can have handling and cleaning limits. Review those expectations before choosing the product.
Consider the room
Humidity, splash exposure, heat and the condition of the wall matter. A bathroom or fireplace location needs a product-specific review; wallpaper cannot correct an ongoing leak or unstable surface.

We need wall widths and heights, roll width and length, pattern repeat and match type. Openings, corners and the chosen starting point affect the layout and usable drops. Murals need their full panel dimensions and ordering instructions. Confirm quantity against the actual product and layout before ordering; a flat waste percentage cannot describe every pattern.
Can you hang new wallpaper over my existing wall finish?
The wall and product need review first. Loose paint, texture, adhesive residue and damaged drywall can interfere with the result. Existing wallpaper may need removal, followed by repairs and compatible primer. Removal and preparation are identified separately in the quote so you know what needs to happen before the new covering is hung.
How are mural panels and patterned wallpaper aligned?
We review the panel sequence or pattern match, the intended focal point and the wall dimensions before cutting. Doors, windows, trim and corners influence the starting point. Send the complete product instructions and a straight-on wall photo so the layout can be planned around those features, with any unavoidable interruptions discussed before installation.
What needs to move in a furnished room before wallpaper installation?
We agree a clear working area along the walls, space for equipment and access to corners, trim and outlets. Tell us about large or fixed furniture and delicate nearby finishes when requesting a quote. Furniture moving, protection and high-level access should be agreed in advance; a narrow gap behind furniture is not always workable.
