Can a sauna be built in an existing room?
A suitable room may be converted after its dimensions, structure, ventilation route and electrical supply are assessed. We review the available space and proposed construction before confirming the layout and scope.
How is the sauna heater chosen?
Room volume, insulation and exposed glass or other surfaces affect the heater requirement. The chosen model must also suit the electrical supply and its specified distances from walls, benches and other materials.
Can I choose the sauna wood, benches and glass?
Yes. We plan the wood lining, seating arrangement, glass and lighting together, with suitable backing for the benches and heater. The layout must retain the access and clearances needed by the selected equipment.
Does a home sauna need ventilation?
Yes. The air supply, exhaust and drying arrangement are planned with the heater, sensor positions and the surrounding rooms. Vent locations depend on the chosen equipment and whether the system uses mechanical or natural airflow.
