Waterproofing & vapor control
Walls, ceiling, benches, seams and penetrations need an assembly suitable for steam exposure. Tile and grout are the visible finish; the concealed moisture protection is planned first.
Generator & utilities
The generator is selected for the actual room and finishes. We plan its location outside the steam enclosure, service access, water supply, drainage and electrical requirements together.
Ceiling, glass & drainage
We review condensation management, ceiling shape, the glass enclosure, door movement and floor drainage as part of the complete steam-room design.

Questions before your site visit
Can my existing shower become a steam shower?
Possibly, but adding a generator alone is not enough. We assess the ceiling, walls, floor, enclosure and existing moisture protection before confirming the work needed for a suitable steam-shower assembly.
Why does a steam room need more than ordinary shower waterproofing?
A steam room has to manage water and water vapor, including at the ceiling, bench seams and every penetration. The complete assembly is chosen for its intended frequency of use, with compatible membranes, seals, drainage and condensation details.
How is the steam generator sized?
The room dimensions, ceiling height, glass and finish materials all affect generator selection. We confirm the equipment against the manufacturer’s sizing method and review power, water and the steam-line route before ordering.
Can the steam generator be hidden away?
It can be concealed in a suitable location while remaining accessible for inspection and maintenance. The model’s installation instructions determine the service space, connections and location requirements, which are planned before the surrounding finishes are closed.
