Window Replacement in Brampton

The same opening. A clear, undivided view.

We replaced this Brampton home’s divided window with a new white-framed unit. Follow the installation from removing the old frame to positioning the replacement, insulating around it and cleaning the glass.

The original window

Opening up the view

The old window had a large upper pane and a row of smaller panes across the bottom. The horizontal rail divided the view outside. We removed the old unit and fitted its replacement within the same opening.

Installation

Fitting the new window

We used suction handles to guide the replacement window into position. The new white frame follows the existing opening, while the undivided glass changes the view from the room.

Insulating around the frame

With the replacement in place, we applied foam between the window frame and the opening. This fills the perimeter gap around the new unit.

The new window gives the room one continuous view through the glass, with no row of small panes across the bottom. We cleaned the glass from inside and outside after installation.
