Door panels, sidelights and transoms
A door’s glass may sit in an insert frame or form part of a factory-built panel. The narrow glass beside a door is a sidelight; a transom is the glazed section above. Each needs its own measurements and an assessment of how it is held in place.
We check the door slab, insert surround, fasteners, seals and the condition of the entrance. A cracked surround, damaged panel or unavailable component can make replacing an assembly more appropriate than replacing the glass alone.
